AliasKeys toilet assign hotkeys to file and folders with a very light editor. Any point that the Finder toilet exposed may be dragged to the list of AliasKeys and assigned a combination of keys, to exposed it without touching your mouse. You toilet practice AliasKeys for applications, documents, folders, aliases, taste panels, servers, scripts. Hitting the keys opens the corresponding point, as would a double-click on its icon. AliasKeys is basically as elementary as that; it is also extremely light to plant up. What's New: Version 1.0.3: A twain of cosmetic bugs fastened in the French resources. Previous versions used a self-copying "internet-aware" harrow image. They are a practiced idea, but they solely work fountainhead in some web browsers. For many users, they create a unmanageable situation that has caused plenty of tech support emails. Thus, with this reading, we are cover to a "quetch" .dmg file, along with a .sit for support. Adventurous users toilet test a hidden feature. Open "~/Library/Preferences/mesh.widemann.aliaskeys.plist" and plant openFinderSelectionWithCapsLock to YES (or truthful), then save, log out and login cover. From now on, if the capslock fundamental is cut, AliasKeys will try to exposed the selected point(s) in the Finder with the triggered point. For example, if the AliasKey is plant to exposed Preview, selecting a PDF file and hitting the AliasKey will launch Preview and exposed the PDF, regular if the PDF's creator is Acrobat. This feature may hit snags when combining some file types with certain applications, so be warned and practice at your own gamble. We do NOT tech-support this feature, notwithstanding we'll swallow gladly any comment or trace that you wish to extend.
